Fragments of Life
Fragments of Life
We hear the phrase, “Every day is a gift, it’s why it’s called the present.” Are we as fragments meant to live each day in complete harmony and bliss? In my opinion, it’s doubtful. My own belief system is such that prior to this earthly incarnation, we chose the lessons, the challenges, the strife. The real point of what matters is how we face and deal with those challenges. Do we learn from those lessons and open up our souls for growth, or do we refuse to Face it? Perhaps it is too painful for us. Yet then, are we set to repeat until it’s learned? Some I see face with grace, dignity and courage. Others continue with their inner wounds.
Ahh, but what of those beautiful lessons, for they are there too. When we get those “aha” lessons, they increase our own capacity to help others.
As I said before, on this Earthly existence, we are simply fragments of our soul that is so expansive that these Earthly “meatsuits” would explode. Our fragments are being guided by our other fragments on the other side…Some call it Heaven. These fragments are our high selves. Talk to that Higer self, which is the true essence of who we truly are. That is where the answers we seek are…. right there, be still, be quiet and you will hear the words needed on this earthly journey. We are all a spark of the Divine and we sparks are all connected, always.
How do you wish to proceed?
Fragments
We are simply fragments, you and I
Once floating in the cosmos
Longing to experience unity with another,
with something tangible, something to touch and behold
To know that we are not alone…ever
To feel the exquisite touch of the ocean
Or a moss covered stone
Or the soft fold of a puppy’s face
Fragments…. a spark of creation
Sent out into the world to experience Love
To experience touch and sensations of grandeur
An apocalypse bursting into sunshine
The truth of who we are…where we came from
Longing to return home
Yet what if we are always home
Knowing it’s just a thought, a feeling
Asleep or awake, always home
Fragments are all we are
Fragments of the divine
Interspersing with one another
Maybe for a moment, maybe a lifetime
Fragment of me, fragment of you
Joined through the heart
