Massage Therapy

Swedish

A technique that uses gentle to firm pressure, used to relax the entire body. I incorporate this style most often for first-time users to introduce their body to the touch of massage.

Deep Tissue

A deeper form of massage that is used to release chronic muscle tension. It focuses on the deeper layers of muscles.

Trigger Point Therapy

A trigger point is a tight area within the muscle that causes pain in other parts of the body. This technique will release constricted areas in the muscle thus alleviating pain. I love how you can experience significant pain relief after just one session.

Pregnancy

Receiving massage while pregnant is a wonderful complementary choice for prenatal care. I love how this massage can alleviate a lot of the discomfort that pregnant women experience such as: backaches, stiff necks, headaches and edema (swelling). I have been certified for pregnancy massage since 1995.

Pediatric

I am a certified Infant massage Instructor and have been working with babies and children since 1995. Infants and children also experience stress and discomfort. This type of therapy is very rewarding; I love introducing the young ones to this special touch at an early age.

Lymphatic Drainage

This technique is a type of gentle massage that encourages natural drainage of the lymphatic system. Unlike the heart, it does not have its own pump, when it gets sluggish it requires manual movement. In this day and age of our toxic environment many would benefit from lymphatic drainage in order to move the waste products and help maintain health.

Reflexology

Reflexology requires the application of appropriate pressure to points on the feet, hands and ears. These points correspond to different organs and systems and by applying pressure it helps maintain health to these areas of the body. Receiving this modality is like getting a whole body massage just by touching the feet.
